MultiMonitorTool
MultiMonitorTool is a small application that allows you to do some actions related to working with multiple monitors. It lets you disable/enable monitors, set the primary VDU, save and load the configuration of all the screens, and shift windows from one monitor to another.
The tool offers a live preview of your current multi-monitor setup and will accept command-line instructions from scripts. It supports a range of versions from XP to modern Windows 10 and is ideal for public computers, such as in lecture halls, or computers with older hardware running multi-monitor setups.
It provides a simple interface that displays all the monitors attached to your system, with some information about the primary monitor and resolution. It also allows you to move windows from one monitor to another with a single click, and to see a preview of a window on any other monitor by pressing F8.
Besides the basic features, MultiMonitorTool is packed with some other nifty features like Preview Windows and Dual Wallpaper. The latter allows you to have different wallpapers on both screens, and the former enables you to change them at regular intervals.
In addition to this, it also comes with a feature that lets you configure the program's hotkeys for changing the screen's orientation and resolution. It also enables you to configure your mouse's hotkeys so that you can move it between the different monitors effortlessly.
It is a free application software download, and it can be used on both Windows and Linux systems. It is a highly efficient and effective tool that allows you to quickly allocate windows between your visual display units (VDUs).
